Brian Kopp’s Alliance leveling guide certainly ranks amongst the best out there, being the original leveling guide created for alliance after the example was set by Joana for horde, and with updates/improvements over time it remains an excellent resource.
Firstly in the list of features is of course, the guide itself, possessing the step by step details on what, where, and how to level your character. Starting from the bottom and proceeding with immense speed to level 70.
The raw guide, to be drawn up alongside your WoW screen if possible or alt-tabbed, is complimented by the usage of the steadily popularized map-notes scheme, veritably adding in the exact points for each step along the way and pointing out any required stops via coordinate.
However if the only measure was simply how effectively it worked, and indeed Brian Kopp’s Alliance leveling guide does work, then this would certainly be worthy of five stars and practically perfect for such requirements.
Instead though, I must admit that, due to the recent improvements in both new and old guides, the need to either possess two monitors, as myself, or repeatedly alt-tab over to a guide and search for the proper coordinates is well… a little off par per say.
Ease of use for newer players and especially those already possessing of a created character is definitely hampered at times. Personally I was successful in this however many of those who I had test it out for me, new and old players alike, found problems from time to time with integrating a previously made character into the guide.
Overall Brian Kopp’s Alliance leveling guide is still a great buy and worthy of any alliance players attention, however unlike in the past, you may find your eye drawn to the competitors that have begun to pose an equal, if not greater, buy.
