Nothing much to say about this boss, just be careful Venoxis Abilities Venom Spit: Venoxis will randomly shoot out a AoE attack that poisons everyone. Have shaman with Cure Poison totem down or anyone who can curing poison. Holy Wrath: If Venoxis has a bunch of players in range of him he may do his Holy Wrath spell which is similar to the shaman's chain lightning. Poison Cloud: When he is in Phase 2 he will drop a poison cloud that deals around 500 damage every 3 seconds. Make sure everyone stays out of the cloud. Holy Fire: Similar to the priest Holy Fire spell, deals around 700-800 damage and puts a magic DoT on the target that can be dispelled. Venoxis Fight The Snake adds that come when you attack him need to be slept by druids or sheeped. Whenever an add dies it increases Venoxis's damage thus it is better to keep them alive. Some guilds will kill them anyway. Have the Main-Tank pull Venoix to the back of the area away from the raid while the druids/mages take care of the adds. Phase 1 is easy and just a matter of burning him down. Once he hits 50% HP he will enter Phase 2 and go into a snake form. Also as with most ZG boss fights draining his mana prevents him from using most of his abilities. Once in snake form his DPS goes up quite a bit along with dropping a poison cloud randomly and using his Venom spit attack. Have everyone make sure to stay out of the cloud while manuvering around so they can still hit Venoxis |
