C'Thun

>

Final boss of the Temple of Ahn'Quiraj, the big eye. Quite evil with lazer beams coming out of its eye and all.

Phase 1 Abilities/Summons:

Red Beam: 40k-55k shadow damage to any player it hits, this is the instant death ray. When this is going to be cast C'Thun will turn red, this goes clockwise/counter-clockwise.

Green Beam: 2600-3300 damage, this is cast every 3 seconds. This jumps to player within 10 yards of the initial target doubling in damage.

Eye Tentacles: These are summoned every 45 seconds, 8 of them appear knocking people back who stand to close. These eye's are evenly spaced around C'thun and cast mind flay but are vulnerable to stuns/interrupts. These have around 2500 HP.

Claw Tentacles: These are summoned randomly into C'thuns room. They deal around 200 damage a hit but also when summoned use ground rupture for around 1300-1700 damage. These have around 1800 HP.

Phase 1:

The first challenge in this fight is entering the room. You have to manage to get 40 people into the room without having them to close otherwise the green beam C'thun casts will insta-kill almost everyone.

Seperate your raid into 2 groups, players who will be on the left side of the room and players who will be on the right. Have the group who has to go the farthest enter first with the other going afterwards to their positions.

Groups will be spread out in somewhat of a circle around the room near the pillars. Once your groups are ready to go your MT must be shielded/buffed with everything possible. Have him run in and get as close to the eye of C'thun as possible.

Once he's in he will be dis-mounted when he's aggroed, as your groups run in they have around 6-12 seconds before they will be aggroed and dismounted.

Each group must avoid the other so that they aren't hit by the beam and kill eachother. Once groups are in position you can start the fight. Every 45 seconds eight of the eye tentacles spawn around C'thun knocking back anyone who comes to attack him.

Stun/Silence/Interrupt these guys to prevent mindflay going off, kill them as fast as possible. When the Red beam starts have everyone move orderly to avoid it. Depending on whether it's clockwise or counter-clockwise have your groups keep moving.

Make sure that as you go along casters are taking out the stray tentacles that pop up. Repeat this until the eye is melted.

Phase 2:

When C'thuns eye is dead phase 2 begins. C'thun will get up off the ground, his eye is melted and you get to see his entire body. If all the tentacles are dead you can exit combat at this point and rez/heal up.

Every 30 seconds now the eye tentacles will spawn to annoy you. Deal with them as before.

Giant Eye Tentacles

One of these is summoned every 40 seconds on a seperate timer then the giant claw. This does a ground rupture attack as well and has the same melee damage. This tentacle will use the eye beam that C'thun cast in phase 1 repeatedly. These have around 40,000 HP.

Giant Claw Tentacles

Now you have to take on Giant Claw Tentacles, one of these is summoned every 40 seconds at a random persons feet. This deals 3000-4000 damage to anyone nearby and knocks them back. The claw can deal around 1400-1600 damage in melee and has a thrash(double attack) ability. These also have around 90,000 HP.

C'thuns Stomach

This is a seperate room from the main fight area, every 10 seconds a tentacle will spawn and swallow someone dropping them here. When inside his stomach you gain a debuff that stacks quite a bit dealing a lot of nature damage.

Inside C'thun are 2 flesh tentacles, they have around 25,000 HP and do a bit of melee damage. Killing these makes C'thun vulnerable to damage from the outside for 45 seconds.

Phase 2 Fight:

As the fight goes on you will need to keep up with the tentacle spawn, failing to do this will gain you a wipe when your overwhelmed. It is prefferable to make the killing of the tentacles inside C'thun coincide with you clearing the outside of tentacles, giving you 45 seconds to focus fire C'thun.

You will want to assign one person per group to watch the timer on the eye tentacles that spawn so they can stun/interrupt them while the raid kills the giant tentacles. I suggest having a lot of communication between those in the stomach to those outside so they can kill the tentacles when the outside is clear and such.
